Grow Season
R.U.F.: Regenerative Urban Farming™ is a free, exceptional workshop developed by Ma'at Urban Agriculture & Industries™. The program covers a wide range of topics, from soil and water ecology to sustainable agriculture and natural garden maintenance. By empowering individuals with knowledge and skills, the program promotes activism for change and aims to build a stronger and more resilient community. Ma'at Urban Agriculture & Industries™ specializes in promoting sustainable living through urban agriculture and plans to establish The Ma'at Regenerative Urban Farm Network™ to promote food security in the community. By turning common places like back yards, schools, and parks into growing spaces we will create more sources of food, education, and mental & physical well-being.
The program offers employment opportunities to those who complete the full course, including youth, disabled persons, veterans, and ex-felons. R.U.F.: Regenerative Urban Farming™ equips participants with the skills they need to succeed in the rapidly trending market of regenerative agriculture practices.
One unique aspect of the program is the creation of a network of urban farms that collaborate to guarantee food security in the community. This model distributes the responsibility of food production among multiple individuals, minimizing the possibility of crop failure due to unforeseen circumstances.
This 2024 grow year we will be teaching 7 workshops from April to October at Belmont Beach in the Haughville area! Dates will be announced at the end of February!
For a more comprehensive learning experience, a 7 module virtual course is offered for $125.00, or individual modules for $25.00 each.
R.U.F.: Regenerative Urban Farming™ is an innovative program that aims to promote sustainability practices and build a healthier, more sustainable future for all.
